Full Ceremony

I am a Registered Marriage and Civil Union Celebrant and Member of the Celebrants Association of New Zealand.

I am based in Timaru but travel all over South Canterbury, Canterbury, McKenzie District and North Otago. Many want to get married on a farm or another location or venue different to where they live

Costs for this service are quoted at a

flat rate of $450 in Timaru and Surrounds, outside areas may have travel added.

This does not include your fee to BDM for the Marriage Licence.

If you are out of these areas such as North of Christchurch, Christchurch, Dunedin, Wanaka, Queenstown and Mackenzie District for example depending on your location, costs including travel and accommodation will be included in a rate that will be quoted to you when you enquire.

Everyone has a different dream wedding so please feel free to discuss your plans so we can cater to your wishes.

Recommendations and knowledge of local wedding vendors

Advice on the legal aspects of your day ie applying for your New Zealand Marriage Licence. https://www.govt.nz/browse/family-and-whanau/getting-married/get-a-marriage-licence/#who-can-get-it and including the preparation before and after of all the legal paperwork

A wedding ceremony written that is unique and reflective of you both as a couple, including added ceremonies eg. handfasting, sand ceremonies or blessings.

Help with writing your vows if necessary and vow cards to keep to remember your promises and commitment from your special day.

At least two meetings to discuss your ceremony and planning not including your first obligation FREE meeting initially.

I have use of my portable wireless Bluetooth PA System and microphone for your ceremony (this is usually best for approimately 40 to 60 guest where the venue does not supply equipment)

I have use of a Signing table if requested

This includes:-

Location of your choice in Timaru Area ie. Botanical Gardens, Art Gallery, Caroline Bay Rose Garden Caroline Bay Beach, Caroline Bay Beach or your own home or you can opt for my home. During the Week, Friday or Saturday or Sunday depending on availability and time. (outside timaru for elopments in Mackenzie, Wanaka and Queenstown would incur extra along with travel surcharges see below)

$150 for the licence (BDM) and $100 to your Celebrant (me)

FREE Signing Table for use at ceremony

Basic personalised min 10 to 15 min ceremony personalised to what you want. ie your own vows.

Written and Performed Ceremony and all your legals after the Ceremony completed by Celebrant

Naming Ceremonies

Starting from $350

A naming ceremony is a way to mark your baby’s arrival without a religious ceremony.

It offers you the chance to focus on your baby’s future development, welfare and happiness and for you to affirm that you will try to be the best parent you can.

There are no set rules or formats, it’s entirely up to you what direction the naming ceremony will take.

You can say what feels good and what fits with your family included can be a couple of readings and also song lyrics

Example structure of a naming ceremony but can vary from ceremony to ceremony so its perfect for your family.

Information about the child – their arrival, personality, interests so far
Words about the importance and responsibility of parenting
